Who We Serve
Who Do We Serve?
Our clinic provides psychodynamic psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families in Toronto and across Canada. We offer compassionate, in-depth therapy tailored to the unique needs of children, teenagers and adolescents, adults, and seniors in various contexts.
Age Groups Served
Children (Under 12)
Our clinic provides psychodynamic psychotherapy services for children exclusively within the context of family therapy. We understand that a child’s emotional well-being is deeply connected to family dynamics and relationships, and environmental factors. Rather than working with children individually, our approach involves parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process to create a supportive and understanding home environment. Family therapy sessions provide a space to explore challenges such as behavioural concerns, emotional regulation, and parent-child relationships, helping families develop healthier communication patterns and stronger connections.
Teenagers and Adolescents (12-17)
Our clinic provides psychodynamic psychotherapy for teenagers and adolescents, to explore identity, relationships, and emotional well-being. Adolescence is an important period of growth and self-discovery, and can involve challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, academic pressure, and family or peer conflicts. Our psychotherapists can help teenagers explore their emotions, unconscious patterns, and personal experiences to create a deeper self-understanding and resilience.
Adults (18-64)
Our clinic provides psychodynamic psychotherapy for adults seeking to explore emotional challenges, improve relationships, and gain deeper self-awareness. Rooted in the belief that early experiences shape present emotions and behaviours, our approach helps clients uncover unconscious influences, process unresolved emotions, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others, which can help identify recurring struggles, break unhelpful cycles, and grow.
Seniors (65+)
Our clinic provides psychodynamic psychotherapy for seniors, offering a supportive space to explore life transitions, emotional well-being, and the deeper meanings of past and present experiences. Aging often brings unique challenges, including grief, loss, changes in identity, health concerns, and shifts in relationships. Our psychotherapists can help seniors process unresolved emotions, reflect on their life’s journey, and navigate these transitions with greater clarity, leading to self-acceptance, emotional healing, and a renewed purpose.
